Reports are claiming that Falkirk's Mark Kerr is to come on trial at Town. The 18-year-old has long been a target of the Blues, but they are concerned that the level of football he is playing at the moment (Scottish First Division) isn't of a high enough standard for him to be properly judged. |

Scottish newspapers are reporting that Town have had a bid to take young Falkirk midfielder Mark Kerr on trial turned down. According to Falkirk's manager Alex Totten not just Town, but West Ham have come in for the highly-rated 18-year-old. |

Town's win at Leeds last week was voted Performance of the Week by a panel of Alex Ferguson, Graham Taylor, David Bassett and Barry Fry. The four meet weekly with chairman Howard Wilkinson to decide the winner. The award is sponsored by the Scottish Mutual. Can't be too big a thing as it was announced yesterday and we've only just noticed. This is the first time Town have won the award. |
